About the Owner

My name is Bob Emery

Many of the pets I have worked with over the years know me as Uncle Bob! I have owned pets from dogs to cats, from guinea pigs to fish and birds, for almost my whole life. On top of owning my own pets, I have also worked at and managed a kennel/pet resort for over five years. While I worked there, I was trained in a daycare to understand dog behavior and interactions as well as being trained to administer medication including insulin shots. My staff and I love getting to know different pets and growing friendships with both pet and owner! We have years of experience and training in pet care services, and we would love an opportunity to meet you and your pet and see how we can help you out!

Our Services

Dog Walking

Do you worry about your pets needing to go outside or even just some attention while you are at work or out with friends? We can walk your dogs so you don't have to worry about them while you enjoy your day!

Pet Sitting

Do you think your pet would be more comfortable at home then in a kennel while you enjoy a vacation? We will stop by to make sure they have plenty of time outside, get their food and water, and receive some love and attention while you are away!

Pet Chauffeur

Does your dog have a vet appointment or play date that you don't have the time to drive them to? Let us give them a ride and take a weight off your mind! We also have developed great relationships with multiple vets in South Jersey from our years of experience in pet care.

Yard Waste Cleanup

Do you love having a dog, but don't love cleaning up after them? Allow us to do the dirty work so you don't have to with our Yard Cleanup service!

Overnight Pet Care

Have you considered hiring a pet sitter to visit your dogs while you are away, but you still hate to leave your pets alone overnight during your vacation? Our newest service is just for you! We will have one of our team members set up shop at your house, taking care of your pets throughout the day, and making sure they are not alone overnight. We will do whatever we have to to make sure your pets are taken care of and you do not have to worry while you are away. While we are there, we will also give you frequent text updates with pictures so you know your pets are safe and sound.

*All services require a meet and greet between one or more of our staff and the pet and owner. Meet and greets are free of charge whether or not you choose to use our services. Please reach out at least one week before our services are required to schedule a meet and greet.

*All prices are based on districts dependant on travel time to reach your location. All prices will be discussed at the meet and greet.

*On holidays, services will be available, but availability will be decreased and prices will be higher.

*All services operate under a "first come, first serve" mentality. It is best to schedule as soon as possible.

So many pets need dedicated love and attention which I cannot adequately provide by myself. Thankfully my family loves animals just as much as I do!

Full Time

Alex

My youngest son, Alex, has joined me full time. He worked at the pet resort for nearly as long as I did, and worked his way up to management as well. He was trained in daycare to understand dog behaviors and interactions. He was also trained in administering medication to dogs, including insulin shots.

Full Time

Zack

My oldest son, Zack, works full time with me. He has a few years of experience working at the pet resort as well where he was trained in a daycare to understand different dog behaviours and needs.

Part Time

Dawn

My wife, Dawn, works part time with me when she can. She has a few years of volunteer experience with a rescue as well as helping out at the pet resort I managed when she could.

5 Year Anniversary Message

WOW, we are celebrating our 5th Anniversary!

I remember the 1st month of business when I had four visits. It sounds crazy but I was excited. Shortly thereafter, COVID hit the country, and everything shut down. By God’s Grace, our business started to thrive with most of our new customers coming from the medical field.

We started out just dog walking but as time went on, we added services to meet our customers’ needs. First was pet sitting while customers are out of town, then yard cleanups, then transportation to Vets, Groomers, Kennels, and Weddings. Lastly, we added In-your-home Overnight Pet Sitting, which has become very popular. A question that always comes up is “do you do this all by yourself?” No, there is a team!

We may have started as a one-man operation, but it quickly changed. Because My Team is important to me and our business let me introduce them, we have three full-time pet sitters and one part-time: myself, Alex, Zack & Dawn. Thank you for your love and support!

But My Team goes beyond that. Matt Bell from Dolan, Bell, Lautner & Gilbert CPAS help us with all tax-related matters. Jim at Schroeder Law Group handles all legal matters to keep us on the right course. Danielle (my friend & consultant) has always been there with information or just to bounce ideas around. When Eowyn's Pet Services was just a thought, she was the first one I called. Finally, Fred, Jeff & team at Superior Automotive Repair LLC keeps all our vehicles running, which is vital because all our services are done in our customers’ homes.

I can’t thank our customer base enough for their support over the past five years. We look forward to the future and growing our Eowyn’s Pet Services family.
